Welcome.
If you’re reading this then it isn’t by accident…. but maybe you are, either way… I am thankful you are here in my little corner of the internet.
My name is Kimberly and I am a Family Lifestyle and Wedding Photographer. I have been blessed to photographed so many families, babies, seniors, couples, weddings and events over the course of the last 8 years. I have made so many new friends in this industry and I have clients that have become like precious family to me. I absolutely love what I do.
I wanted to use this very first blog post on my new website to be a little “get to know me” thing. I gave some information over on the About Me section of the website, but I didn’t give too much information away!
So here is a few things about me: (some repeated and some not)
I have four children: three girls (two of which are grown) and one boy. They are literally my whole entire life.
Starbucks is my Go-Go Juice… most importantly that White Mocha Frappe.
I work in a law office as an office assistant when I’m not doing photography.
I am completely self-taught as a photographer.
Nikon is the ONLY camera of choice.
My best friend is a photographer. We shoot and edit similarly. I love it.
My kids talked me into downloading TikTok. This is a hilarious disaster.
Margaritas and Tacos are essential for life function.
I have an ESA registered standard poodle named Zhaki. He has been my saving grace on many occasion.
I love to workout.
I prefer iPhone to Android.
My favorite colors to wear are deep purples, olive greens and burgundys.
I am a natural light, on location photographer. I don’t have a studio yet, but I am working towards on.
I love to give back in photography and being able to give memories to those who desperately need them is a heart passion of mine. I will stand and cry the entire time I shoot and the entire time I edit just so I can give a family something precious to hold on to. It’s my main WHY for why I am a photographer.
And lastly, I am sold out completely to Jesus! I try to live every day of my life trying to love others like Him.
Here are a few images from my most recent session before the coronavirus really kicked up and shut everything and everyone down. Stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and thanks for stopping by. Check back periodically for more blog posts on everything from how to get ready for a session to how to photograph something yourself!
